About me
Thank you for visiting my website and welcome! I’m Tara and I have been a teacher of yoga since 2013.
I live with my husband, two teenage girls and Labrador, who you will often see walking me around the beautiful Chilterns.
I teach regular group and therapeutic classes in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire and have assisted with teacher training and IST days for MS. I have been inspired to deepen and enrich my learning with Adaptive Yoga’s first training in the UK at Stoke Mandeville Stadium in June 2019 and recently in March 2023 as a Menopause Yoga Accredited Teacher. I continue to learn and develop my teaching and personal practice as part of my professional accreditation for the CNHC, BWY, and AYS.
My passion for teaching is to share the steady heart of this practice, which kindly provides the tools to help to negotiate our lives, where we find ourselves and with compassion, spirit, courage, humanity and trust. Following a yoga practice has been a unique and very special privilege for me and I aim to reflect this in my teaching. Yoga is a practice that has such breadth and depth it will never fail to offer something for all of us.
If I can share the opportunities that I have discovered and support your steps into yoga then I feel blessed and deeply honoured.
with love,
Tara
Gratitudes
I have been invited to share in the wisdom, support and encouragement of the following tutors; Gill Ansty, Ranju Roy, Dave Charlton, Fredee Sardais, Petra Coveney and Dr Brenda Davies. With my love, respect, and gratitude, always.
To all my teachers, friends and students, thank you for the joy of our learning together, for your teachings and for the gift of yoga that we have the opportunity to share.
